What is the relationship between cancer and the immune system?
Paul Ehrlich, a scientist who lived over 100 years ago, understood the connection between cancer and the immune system. He said that the incidence of cancer would be much greater were it not for the vigilance of our immune defense system in identifying and eliminating nascent tumor cells. Cancer and the immune system are directly related. Cancer is an immune system dysfunction disease. Cancer results from your immune system failing to recognize and destroy cells that do not replicate normally. If the Immune System were working perfectly there would have been no chance for the cancer to begin. It would be destroyed on a cell-by-cell basis as it happened. This is actually the process that occurs in almost everyone from the moment of birth, but with over one hundred million cells replicating every day, errors sometimes happen and your immune system may fail to recognize bad cells. A weak immune system increase the risk of the immune system making errors or not being able to keep up with attacking "bad" cells. Cancer tumors begin when more cancerous cells are being created than an overworked, depleted immune system can destroy. Because the immune system is weak, the tumor can continue to replicate until it becomes large enough for a doctor to detect. The point at which the tumor is large enough to detect can take a long time, even as long as 10 years. But by the time it is large enough to detect, it is already hundreds of millions of cells in size, making it very difficult for the immune system to mount an effective defense against the tumor. The concept of cancer treatment followed in America is essentially to cut, burn and poison in an attempt to kill off the bad cells (cancer cells) while supporting the good cells (healthy cells). Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation are the methods of choice, but is this the best we can offer? In doing so you have not removed the cause of the cancer, which is the immune dysfunction that allowed the cancer to proliferate in the first place. Nor have you addressed this cause when you kill the tumor off with chemotherapy, or if you burn the tumor out with radiation. All of these methods are useful, but ultimately they will fail unless adequate steps are taken to trigger an effective and improve immune system response. So how is cancer and the immune system connected? A strong immune system is very important in preventing and treating cancer. On this website, you will learn many remedies on how to stimulate and strengthen your immune system, thus helping you reduce the risk of getting this horrible disease. Our Creator God, who is also our Great Physician, has given us all the power of health and healing within our own immune system. You can enjoy optimum health and protect your self from cancer by following some common sense advise. God has given your body the ability to heal, repair, regenerate, and restore optimal health without the use of expensive drugs. Ultimately, it is our own decision, each and every one of us, to try and maintain good health or not. We make decisions on a day-by-day basis that affect our long-term health.
